Following with our theme of ‘quirky indie films that have a happy feel to them’, we came across this one the other night and really enjoyed it. And if you are going to say ‘I don’t do subtitles,’ get over it! I said that for years and finally am realizing what I missed out on.
This movie checked all my boxes: an animal you fall in love with (check); a teacher (check); an independent woman finding herself (check); hiking (check); beautiful scenery (check); and it was in french (check as I’m 8 months into my advanced french course). Some great french humor in it. We really enjoyed it.
