5 Star Kitty : Rescued from SCRC in 2014, Alexis , aka Loving Lexis, or Lexi is
Now a Senior Lady at 14 years old yet so youthful & as Beautiful as ever. She was featured in SCRC cat calendar in 2015 ; Miss December & in 2019; Miss October !
Lexi was among a group of Siamese cats that were rescued from an illegal breeder who was evicted & the group of cats were locked in a shed with no provisions during record breaking sub- zero winter temperatures. Aunt Siri, said she was the last of her group to come out of her traumatized shock symptoms.
I had been looking at adoption for a Siamese kitty & was so struck by the markings of a Lynx-point Siamese. SCRC had featured a kitten named Lisa & I signed up to adopt a SCRC cat. My adoption coach was helpful in guidance & along came Alexis! When I saw her face with her squinting left eye, I felt immediate connection with her. I got in my request for the adoption of Lexi.
Lexi is a most beautiful & photogenic Siamese kitty. She is Smart & very personable. She is my Soul-mate in cat form & such a loyal & loving Friend. I can’t imagine my life without her.
Lexi is exclusively indoors but enjoys her cat tree tower where she reigns as Queen of the house & has view of all the outdoor bird activity for her entertainment. She uses her exercise wheel daily still even in her old age & i believe the cat wheel is a primary factor in her staying so healthy. Lexi has bouts of FVRV, the kitty cold, symptoms coming out from time to time, so she gets Lysine as needed & organic kale daily.
Lexi loves being brushed and cared for. Her favorite toys are the wand teasers & plays fetch with them when thrown.
I’m grateful to have such a wonderful cat in my life! She is forever my Girlie!
Thank you,
Suzanne M.
