A five star cat through and through! Jake came from Vets to Cats. I can still remember him sitting in the front of the cage watching as I walked towards him. He was accepted into SCRC and I was his foster. From day one I knew he was special. He adjusted here quickly, got along with all the other cats and purred every time I petted him. He adjusted to a walking harness and I started to bring him to the cat show every year in Roanoke. As folks would come to our booth, he’d greet everyone. He loved riding in his cat carriage and wouldn’t jump out with the hood down which would allow me to take him to lunch with me. He had beautiful meezer voice and would answer me when I talked to him. I used him as a ambassador for Siamese Cat Rescue at the shows in Roanoke. He was a foster fail who I loved dearly. I lost him to severe pancreatitis right before the pandemic hit. I miss him every day.
